At HAYMAC we make Hen houses to suit all tastes and budgets , from the utility Swale arc to the fully movable Mrs Peck. We also make 'one off' builds to customer specification.

The Mrs Peck Hen House range is the pinnacle of chicken accomodation, it has ;

•  4 wheels under the floor and sits on a frame that allows the house to be moved forward and back
• Timber slatted or heavy duty weld mesh floor that allows chicken waste to fall beneath the hen house, this can be easily cleared away by moving the hen house on it's wheels and frame. Regular removal of chicken waste prevents the production of Amonia and increases egg production and enhances bird comfort.
• External egg laying boxes.
• Lockable pop hole and draw bridge

The Mrs Peck Range of Hen Houses comes in 4 sizes

4ft x4ft - 4 bird house, 6ft x 6ft - 9 bird house, 6ft x 8ft - 12 bird house, 6ft x 10ft - 15 bird house . Note - number of birds suggested is a guide based on each bird having 4ft² of floor space. Should you need a bigger Hen House we can build one to your specification.

ARCS

Utiliy Swale chicken arcs are great for the family who want a couple of laying birds in their back garden , they can be made to take 2, 4 or six hens.

Kent chicken arcs are for people who want an arc that is more refined for their chickens, these can be built with a night time roosting house for extra safety, they can be made to take 2, 4 or six hens.
